Telephone Researchers/Interviewers

Planner
Required to provide planning services to both private and government organisations. The suitable applicant must be familiar with the resource consent process and have a familiarity with the Resource Management Act 1991. A familiarity with district plans would be an advantage. Graduate planners will be considered.

Economist
Graduate economist required. All specialisations (eg, macro & micro together with industry knowledge) considered.

Market Researcher
Graduate specialist in market research required. Demonstrated research experience is essential.

Business Analyst
Graduate business analyst required. Prior experience not essential but must have some research ability and demonstrated work outputs.

 

Applicants must be adaptable, enthusiastic and self motivated. Ability to work in teams and individually essential.

 

 Business and Marketing Analyst

Location: Rotorua

This is an exciting position suitable for a new graduate or a person with 2-3 years experience. It involves undertaking business development and marketing projects for a variety of client types. The salary will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

The person will lead and support client-based projects as required, including but not

limited to:

  • Business Development.
  • Feasibility Studies.
  • Marketing and Market Research.
  • Strategic Planning.

The person will undertake cross-organisational work across APR Consultants in a manner that ensures quality outputs and helps build future capability. The person will be meticulous with their work and have:

 

  • Good communication, interpersonal and consultation skills.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills including report writing (including the translation of ideas and concepts into written language).
  • Effective public presentation skills.
  • Able to use initiative and solve problems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to develop a team approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks.

The person will have a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. economics, business, commerce, and marketing) and be proficient in their use of Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

Research and Administration Analyst

Location: Rotorua

This is an exciting position suitable for a new graduate or a person with 2-3 years experience. It involves undertaking market and public research alongside administration and project supervision services for the business. The salary will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

The person will lead and support client-based projects as required, including but not limited to:

  • Market Research.
  • Education Research.
  • Social Research.

The person will also undertake administration work related to projects across the business including handling project related support including but not limited to:

  • Project administration including invoicing and taking the lead role in

administration requirements around specific projects.

  • Cross-organisational work in a manner that ensures quality outputs and helps

build future capability.

  • Working with other members of the team to maintain market research fieldwork

capacity by recruiting, supporting and monitoring a team of contract interviewers.

  • Library management.

The person will be meticulous with their work and have:

  • Demonstrated administration skills.
  • A real interest in sustainability.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and consultation skills.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills including report writing (including the translation of ideas and concepts into written language).
  • Able to use initiative and solve problems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to develop a team approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks.
